Our Story
The founders of Ditto’s Grill, Frank Yang and Dominic Serratore, met while working as chefs in an upscale restaurant in Providence, Rhode Island. Both had pursued classic culinary training, something Yang calls “the foundation for really knowing what you’re doing in the food business.”
By a chain of lucky events, both Serratore and Yang ended up in Louisville. They both experienced success within the restaurant industry, and they finally decided to do their own thing. That thing turned out to be Ditto’s Grill. They bought a building at the corner of Bardstown and Grinstead which originally housed a garage called “Ditto’s & Hartzell,” and the rest was history.
